Privacy Policy

This policy describes what personal data we process when providing the ProveriPhone.cz service, for what purpose, on what legal basis, whom we share it with and what rights you have. Processing is carried out in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).

2. What data we process

Contact email — to deliver the Report and communicate about the order.
The IMEI number entered by the customer — a unique identifier of the checked device. Under certain circumstances the IMEI may be considered personal data, since it is theoretically possible (via a carrier or authorities) to link it to a specific person. Usually, however, it relates to the owner of the checked device, not to the customer. We process it to the minimum extent.
Payment data — about the payment and its identification (variable symbol, amount and details from the bank statement). Payment is made by bank transfer; we do not process payment-card details.
Technical and operational data — e.g. IP address and cookies to the extent necessary for the operation and security of the website.

3. Purposes and legal basis of processing

4. Recipients and processors

We share personal data only to the extent necessary with these categories of recipients:

5. Transfer to countries outside the EU

For the purpose of checking the device, we transfer the IMEI number to the provider sickw.com, which may operate outside the European Economic Area. This transfer is necessary for the performance of the contract with the customer (checking a specific device) within the meaning of Art. 49(1)(b) GDPR. Only the IMEI number is transferred, not contact or payment data.

6. Retention period

Data related to the order and accounting documents are kept for the period set by law (usually 5 years).
The contact email and the generated Report are kept for the period necessary to provide the service and handle any complaints, after which we delete or anonymise them.
We do not keep the entered IMEI longer than necessary to generate the Report and to evidence provision of the service.

7. Your rights

In relation to your personal data you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, the right to object to processing based on a legitimate interest, and the right to withdraw consent given. You exercise these rights by email to info@proveriphone.cz.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority, which is the Office for Personal Data Protection (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů), Pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Prague 7, www.uoou.cz.

8. Cookies

The website uses technically necessary cookies required for its operation; these do not require consent. Any analytical or marketing cookies are used only on the basis of your consent, which you can withdraw at any time in your browser settings.

9. Changes to the policy

We may update this policy; the current version is always available on this page. Effective from 4 August 2026.
